My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever met a cat that makes you just want to relax and let go of the stress in your world just by watching him…..RELAX?  Well you have to think about hiring Mortie to come live with you and help you relax and destress.   Just wanting this boy CHILL is like a tranquilizer pill.  He is a young 1 year old male orange and white cat tabby who has learned some secrets that most of us are still trying to find in this world.  You might call Mortie a lazy guy but honestly we think he was born to bring some peace and chill vibes to the humans around him.  Mortie just loves to sit around and watch the world go by. Of course you can count on Mortie to be loving and snuggly…. He just might help you think of therapy in a different way.  Loving Mortie and watching him chill will be so easy to do every day. Of course this boy gets along with other cats, dogs and children. He is a dream cat that just loves everything in life.  If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.
