DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Lena! She is a young, friendly, and sweet-natured girl who is on the hunt for a loving forever home. She can be a bit shy at first, but her shyness is a charming quality that makes her even more endearing. Lena has a great temperament and gets along well with other dogs. Her loving personality will make her a perfect addition to any home. She's eager to find a family who will embrace her sweetness and treat her as one of the "pack". Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
