What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We need to rehome our beautiful cat, whom we adopted from a shelter. She originally came to the shelter from a previous owner for reasons unknown. When we first brought her home, she was very shy, but over time she grew more comfortable with us.
However, her behavior began to change suddenly she started hissing, scratching, and even biting. We believe she may have been mistreated in her past home, and these reactions could be a result of that trauma. She needs someone experienced with cats, especially those who might have behavioral challenges, to give her the love, patience, and understanding she deserves.
Right now, I am pregnant, and as much as we care for her, I dont feel comfortable keeping her in our home with a baby on the way. We are not asking for any money; we simply want her to find a safe and loving environment with someone who can meet her needs.
Shes a stunning cat with so much potential to thrive in the right hands.
