My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crowley came from a crowded home, now he is ready to be the center of attention. This 7 month old kitten races at 100 miles an hour or is asleep. He is curious and loves being held. He is scared in the shelter, but when things are quiet he has a solid purr box.

The adoption fee is $150 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.

Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.

After you have submitted an application and been approved, a Cat Team member will reach out to set up a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill shelter operating in Sarpy County, Nebraska, a suburb of Omaha. We re-home dogs, cats and small critters. We work with dogs that are typically on "death row" and take in dogs from kill shelters in KS, TX, MO and elsewhere, as needed. Our cats usually come from kill shelters with an occasional owner surrender under special circumstances. Critters are found a variety of ways.

We also provide boarding and grooming services at very reasonable rates.
