Hi!!

My name is Luigi, and my birthday is October 2nd. My mom has noticed that I have some issues with my eye sight, but I like to think of it as a super power! It doesn’t stop me!

There is some question about my parents, but we think there is Jack Russel Terrier in my genes, somewhere. Mom doesn’t think I’ll get any bigger than 15 lbs, but that won’t stop me from playing with the big kids! I’m great with kids and pups of many sizes… cats are still questionable. Mom thinks I would do best with a big brother/sister, but I think I would be just fine on my own.

I love to play, cuddle, and explore! I'm pretty good with the puppy pad too! It's been too cold and wet to go outside, yet. So that's something I'll need help with.

The adoption fee for puppies under 6 months of age is $250. If the puppy is too young or small to be fixed there will be a $75 spay/neuter rebate form provided. They currently have at least 1 puppy shot,, flea preventative, heartworm preventative and are microchipped with lifetime registration ($13). More about this rescue

Stray Haven provides homes, as foster space allows, for dogs and puppies. We primarily focus on pulling dogs and puppies from independent rescuers who have little resources to secure the vetting and homes that these precious babies so desperately need. Some counties in rural areas don't have access to a county run shelter or facility and these independent rescuers are breaking their backs trying to make sure that dogs aren't starving or freezing after abandonment.

In addition to taking in these dogs and puppies, our outreach continues to help independent rescuers by providing education, exposure for the animals in their care and donations when possible to support their cause.
