My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Panther (203417) was an owner surrender to the NYC ACC at Manhattan.  His cat mom passed away and the son could not care for Panther and the others due to his allergies.  Panther found himself in the cold shelter wondering what happened to his world.  One of his housemates was adopted at the Shabby Tabby Cafe in Sayville, NY.  Another one, Couscous still awaits a loving home, but is happy at the cat cafe.  Panther was originally sent their too, but he seemed slightly unhappy there so we brought him to the Ranch and he seemed to like it here better.  Panther is a really nice cat.  He is not overwhelming in any way, and he enjoys being near people.  He is only 10 years old, so if we can find him a home that would be great.

More about this rescue

New Hope Rescue Ranch - List of Programs

Street Rescue

We network to find placement for cats and kittens that are on the streets. We have adoptable cats that are looking for homes.

Shelter Rescue

We are an approved NYC ACC New Hope Partner. This enables us to request cats that are placed on their At Risk List for medical or behavioral reasons.

Hospice

We are working to be able to offer hospice for cats that have no other alternative.

The Gabriel TNR Program/Fund Ferals

We support groups and trappers that engage in trap, neuter, return programs as it is a powerful way to curb the killing of adoptable cats.
