My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaz was surrendered to Feline Matchmakers when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She was adopted by the owner as a kitten and well cared for, but was kept in a temporary situation for too long and became fearful and neglected. She was then adopted to an awesome single lady, but the lady developed COPD and allergies, so Jaz is back in foster care.

Jaz has not been exposed to children, but doesn't mind nice dogs. She has been regularly vetted and is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.  She is ready to adopt now! Jaz enjoys looking out windows and screened porches. She loves to strut around the house and enjoys head rubs. Over time, she will bond with one or two humans, but she is NOT likely to do well in a busy, bustling household.

APPLICATIONS ARE AT FELINEMATCHMAKERS.ORG FOR THOSE OVER 21 THAT LIVE IN THE WILMINGTON, NC AREA. Once we have an application, we will contact you to schedule an appointment to meet Jaz.

More about this rescue

Faith McNitt started Feline Matchmakers in January of 2020. We are a small organization that focuses on owner surrenders. The larger organizations focus on shelter pulls, so we feel this is the most needed service in Wilmington, NC. We also work TNR cases in small numbers. We are looking for fosters to build our organization. All fosters work on a charity basis, as we do not yet have the funding to pay for anything other than medical expenses. If interested in joining us to save cats from being euthenized or put in shelters, please contact us.
