My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simba Sullivan is a playful 1-year-old red Boston boy . He has done very well with house training. He loves to play tug or playing ball. He makes a great traveling companion doing great on car rides . He enjoys long walks or snuggling on the couch. He doesn’t like being left alone for long periods of time. He likes to be next to his person.

Simba Sullivan will do best with a mature family or experienced dog owner. Due to lack of appropriate socialization he would do best as an only pet. However with training it may be possible to add a pet after he has learned appropriate behavior.

He weighs 16lb, is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and is heartworm negative and on prevention.

Simba Sullivan is located in Cumming, GA. For questions about him, email his foster mom, Sarah, at 470-533-3787 or williamscreek20@gmail.com. His adoption fee is $540.

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.

More about this rescue

All breeds have their own particular needs and rescued pets often have special requirements as well, very often in want of medical care, often lacking nourishment and kindness, and often expensive to rehabilitate.

Because we have had Boston Terriers for many years, we are very familiar with their habits, peculiarities and their special needs.

We operate across the southeast under the auspices of the Boston Terrier Rescue Network. We share information and resources in all of the USA with affiliated Boston Rescues.
