Hi, I'm Zelenka! I'm a sweet, affectionate female teen with a sleek black coat and a white collar w/ yellow clasp. Born approximately 3/17/24, I'm still young, but I've already learned just how much I love being around people. I came from a colony of cats in Penrose, CO, but now I'm ready to leave all that behind and find a safe indoor home where I can be pampered and loved. I'm all about the cuddles--if you've got a lap or arms ready to hold me, I'll be there! I adore being petted from head to tail, and I've been told my purring is as comforting as a cozy blanket. When I'm not snuggling, I like to show off my playful side. I'm curious and like to explore. Toss me a toy ball or wiggle a wand toy on the floor, and I'll happily chase it around. I'm polite and friendly with other cats, so I'd do well in a home with feline friends, as long as you follow Wild Blue's instructions when introducing me to other pets. We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!

Go meet their pets

You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.

Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) rescue organization in the Colorado Springs area. We are committed to the No Kill philosophy and we hope to help El Paso County become a No Kill region. We currently only house cats and kittens.
