Julie is a 4-year-old apricot Maltese/poodle who weighs 9 lbs. Despite her traumatic past, she is sweet and spunky. Rescued from a horrific, illegal puppy mill in Busan, South Korea, in October, Julie is one of over 500 dogs saved through the efforts of Korean K9 Rescue and our incredible partners. Now thriving in foster care, Oliver is looking for his forever family. Watch his rescue here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/pH4y4l8j2RE
Adopting a puppy mill survivor like Julie comes with unique rewards and responsibilities. She has shown incredible resilience and a bright spirit, but dogs from these backgrounds often require patience and time to decompress and adjust to a loving home. While Julie is currently healthy and has received excellent veterinary care, potential adopters should be aware of the genetic predispositions common in dogs from such environments, including luxating patellas, heart conditions, dental issues, etc, that could arise later in life, and prepared both financially and mentally to help Oliver live an everyday happy life.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to Julie, you'll gain a loyal companion who thrives on love and care. Apply to adopt Julie and start the journey of a lifetime together!
