My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snoop– The Dogg of Your Dreams!

Fo shizzle! I’m Snoop, a 1-year-old Boxer mix with 45 pounds of pure love and good vibes. I might not rap, but I’ll serenade you with cuddles and goofy antics all day long. I was born in The Animal Pad’s care and have had a loving home for the past year. My family’s newborn is allergic so I’m searching for a new pad to call my own. I’m the ultimate, “D, O, double-G” and any would be lucky to have a superstar like me!

I’m all about that laid-back, chill life—unless it’s playtime! I still have my puppy energy and love to get out and about. I love the dog park, chewing on bones, and kickin’ it with my furry homies (dogs AND cats!). I’m respectful of kitties; if they’re cool, I’m cool. And kids? They’re my little fans—I’m kid-friendly, too! Everyone loves Snoop and Snoop loves everyone.

Cuddling is my ultimate jam. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be where you are, whether that’s lounging on the couch, attempting to sit on your lap, or sharing your bed (don’t shut me out, though; I’ll let you know how I feel with my adorable whine). I’m house-trained and working on perfecting my leash game. I’ll admit I’ve got a little separation anxiety because I love my people so much, but hey, who wouldn’t miss hanging out with me?

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and downright lovable dog, I’m your guy. I’ll fill your home with joy, laughter, snuggles, and endless tail wags. I’m the happiest hound with both human companionship and other doggos. So, let’s roll—hit me up if you’re ready for a lifetime of love and snuggles.

My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We prioritize local San Diego applicants. We do not provide transport of dogs to other states, and don't allow the dogs to fly in the cargo of the plane.
Our adoption process from start to finish, involves 3 standard forms, and 2 situational.
All potential applicants must be capable of providing their adopted pet with routine and emergency veterinary care (yearly health checks, keeping vaccinations current, heartworm/flea preventatives, and immediate care in the event the animal is sick or injured). They are required to license their pet, and keep an identification tag on their pet at all times.
All applicants must agree to a home check, and provide us with a veterinary reference, or personal references if you're a first-time pet owner. Our home checks are not to invade the privacy of the applicants, we do this to ensure the pet is going into a safe home. We do not discriminate against non-homeowners, or those living in apartments, condos, or otherwise.
Our adoption fees vary from $150-1000.
Applicants must agree in writing that if for any reason they are unable to keep or care for their pet, the pet will be surrendered back to our rescue and not re-homed, turned over to a shelter, pound, rescue, new owner, sold, etc.

More about this rescue

Overview
The Animal Pad is a nonprofit, all-breed dog rescue devoted to saving the lives of dogs facing euthanasia at high kill animal shelters and off the streets of Mexico. We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home locally.

We are dedicated to animal advocacy, and educating dog owners on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. We are a foster based rescue, and rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of the amazing people who make donations toward the rescue and care of the dogs we save.

We are always looking for adopters, fosters, donations, volunteers, etc.. Please let us know if you would like to get involved by contacting us at one of the email addresses found below.
