My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to add a bundle of joy to your life? Meet Remmy, an adorable, energetic Labrador Retriever/Black Mouthed Cur mix puppy who is ready to steal your heart! He is about 42 pounds and 10 months old as if November. He is black with a patch of white on his chest/belly.

Remmy has boundless energy and a playful spirit, and he is a joy to be around. He has a contagious energy that other dogs love (jumping right in for playtime) and humans love to be around. He has already made himself right at home in the neighborhood, making friends with the dogs in the building and having lots of playtime with the foster`s own lab mix dog. He gets along well with kids and enjoys going for rides in the car.

Remmy is well behaved in the home—he is potty and crate trained and hasn`t had any accidents. He enjoys his walks, and doesn`t seem too distracted by birds or squirrels. He is a social dog and can often want to say hi to other dogs as they walk by. Given that he is a high energy dog, he can play for hours, so you may want to consider that if you have another dog in the home. When it`s nap time, he will curl up on any chair, the bed or floor— especially with a comfy blanket.

Remmy is a little vocal when he hears noises outside, but his barks are not sustained. He knows, loosely, the following commands: sit, down, crate/bed, no, drop it/leave it.

Remmy is eager to find his forever home, where he can shower his new family with love and laughter. If you`re ready to welcome a playful, sweet, and funny companion into your life, Remmy is the perfect pup for you! Come meet him today and get ready to fall head over heels in love.

Like all CPR dogs, additional dog training is required.

Remmy is fixed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm-negative, and microchipped.

Remmy is currently being cared for by our rescue but would like you to make him a permanent part of your family today! His adoption fee of $325 will also help to benefit other CPR rescue animals.

More about this rescue

CPR is a foster/volunteer based rescue, with a 501c(3) non-profit status, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals. We do not have a central "shelter" as all of our animals are placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found. Our goal is to rescue as many animals as we can safely manage thru foster homes. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds and other small animals.
