If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Auburn is a sweet and loving dog. I got her from the Humane Society when she was a 6 month puppy. Today, she is soon to be 4 years old and while she has her puppy energy moments with the zoomies, she’s often relaxing (in the sun if possible!). Auburn loves to take walks and even more loves a space where she can run and run (like the Westminster open space dog park). Rover sitters have commented on how well her recall is. On walks, she’s become much much less of a puller unless she smells something of interest (the bloodhound in her). Auburn would do great in a home with children of any age or another dog (she currently lives with a second dog). I’m really hoping someone can give her the fun dog adventures that I am no longer able to. She’s a good girl and deserves a great loving family.
