French Fry, born April 2024, came to us after her failed attempt to sneak into Hardees for a quick snack one day. Her heroic attempts to get away from the humans trying to catch her also failed and she has turned into quite the charmer - although she still can be easily startled. When French Fry trusts you - she will love you like crazy for always. She would be a great cat for someone with cat experience - she needs to be understood. Come and meet our little French Fry - she's a one of a kind girl!
All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org
When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.
Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.
If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
