My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rae!

Hi, I’m Rae, a 4-month-old Retriever/Lab mix with energy to spare and a heart full of love! I adore playing with my foster sisters and can keep up with the best of them during tug-of-war, fetch, or chasing after a ball. But don’t be fooled—I also love snuggling up and sitting in my foster mom’s lap when it’s time to relax.

About Me
I’m a quick learner! Since arriving from Texas, I’ve been making great progress with potty training. I already know commands like “sit,” “no,” and “off,” especially when treats are involved. I’m starting to find my voice, but overall, I’m a quiet girl who enjoys naps on the couch or a cozy doggie bed. When it’s bedtime, I settle nicely in my kennel. I live with two foster sisters my age and have met bigger, older dogs—I love everyone! There’s a kitty in my foster home, but we haven’t officially met yet since he’s still a little shy.

My Personality
I may be petite now at 18 pounds, but I hold my own during playtime! I’m an active and confident girl who thrives on stimulation and exercise. I love having fun but also enjoy downtime cuddled up with my favorite humans.

What I’m Looking For
I’d do best in an active home with a fenced yard to burn off my puppy energy and regular long walks to keep me happy. I get along great with other dogs and would love a furry sibling to play with! I also enjoy the company of kids who can keep up with my playful spirit.

If you’re looking for a smart, energetic, and loving companion who’s always up for fun and cuddles, I might just be your perfect match!
