Meet Whelchel & Wally: A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home

Whelchel is a 5-year-old, 14-pound poodle mix with a wiry coat and an irresistibly cute face. Rescued from a South Carolina shelter with his best friend, Wally, Whelchel may be the smaller of the two, but he's just as full of love. Playful, affectionate, and eager to please, Whelchel is crate trained and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and kids. His sweet, joyful personality is sure to win you over.

Wally, about 10 years old and weighing 20 pounds, is a laid-back, easygoing poodle mix who brings a sense of calm wherever he goes. A model foster dog, Wally is grateful for his second chance and content to simply be loved. Quiet, crate trained, and just as affectionate as Whelchel, Wally is great with dogs and kids, and he loves a good cuddle and attention.

These two are inseparable and would love to find a home where they can continue sharing their bond and bring endless joy to their new family. If you’re looking for a pair of sweet, loyal companions eager to love and be loved, Whelchel and Wally are the perfect duo!

More about this rescue

We provide adoption services in NY, NJ, CT, RI, NH, and ME.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Charitable, not -for profit organization, created to save the lives of animals. We rescue animals that are located in "KILL" facilities and underwrite the costs of relocating them to "NO KILL" facilities in hopes of finding them a forever family. We work with local veterinarians for spay-neuter/ medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home. We depend on donations to continue to save these helpless loving animals from being killed and hope that you will consider supporting our cause..... saving as many lives as we can.
