**Meet Whelchel & Wally: A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home**

**Whelchel** is a 5-year-old, 14-pound poodle mix with a wiry coat and an irresistible face. Rescued from a South Carolina shelter alongside his best friend, Wally, Whelchel is the smaller of the two but just as full of love. Playful, affectionate, and eager to please, he is crate trained and gets along well with both dogs and kids. Whelchel’s sweet, joyful personality is bound to steal your heart.

**Wally**, approximately 10 years old and weighing 20 pounds, is a laid-back, easygoing poodle mix who brings calm and contentment wherever he goes. He’s been a model foster dog, grateful for his second chance and happy to simply be in a loving home. Wally is quiet, crate trained, and just as affectionate as his younger companion. He’s also great with dogs and kids and loves nothing more than a good cuddle and some attention.

These two are inseparable, and they would love to find a home where they can continue to share their bond and bring endless joy to their new family. If you’re looking for a pair of sweet, loyal companions who are eager to love and be loved, Whelchel and Wally are the perfect duo!

More about this rescue

We provide adoption services in NY, NJ, CT, RI, NH, and ME.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Charitable, not -for profit organization, created to save the lives of animals. We rescue animals that are located in "KILL" facilities and underwrite the costs of relocating them to "NO KILL" facilities in hopes of finding them a forever family. We work with local veterinarians for spay-neuter/ medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home. We depend on donations to continue to save these helpless loving animals from being killed and hope that you will consider supporting our cause..... saving as many lives as we can.
