Mateo Mixed Breed approximately 2.5 years old
Mateo was left to die in the dirt on the side of a desert road after he was struck by a vehicle.
Today (Nov-14), his leg was amputated.

!! Mateo needs someone to be his hero, and we are asking for your help. He needs a foster who can give him the warmth and care he deserves !!
Just imagine having your leg cut off of your body and then everybody around you takes off and leaves you in a cage...
We can't bear the thought of it...

Our rescue facility is located in Tijuana. Once our rescues are ready for adoption, they are transported to our adoption events in San Diego. We are also in Puyallup, WA! When we are there, our adoption events take place at the PetSmart on 156th Street.
