Trish is a 14 year old senior cat who is looking for a loving home for hospice care. About Trish from her foster humans:

How would you describe the cat's general personality? Trish is sweet and affectionate but not needy. She loves looking out a window and being held.

Does the cat enjoy being pet? Yes, she likes to be pet on the head, around her cheeks, along her back.

Are there any parts of its body that the cat does NOT like being touched? No
Does the cat come on your lap? Yes, sometimes.
Does the cat like to be held? Very much so! She purrs when being held.
Does the cat sleep in your bed? She has not had the opportunity to do so.
Does the cat seek your attention? Yes, but not always. She likes attention but also her own space.

Does the cat like to play? She will sometimes play with a wand toy or her kick toys.

How vocal is the cat? She is not particularly vocal, but gives the occasional conversational meow.
What kinds of sounds does the cat make? She chirps and occasional meow. Lots of purrs.

Does the cat scratch a scratcher? Yes, she likes to use rope scratchers. She will sometimes scratch at furniture but is easily redirected to a nearby scratching post.
Does the cat always use the litter box? Yes, perfectly.

What food and frequency is the cat currently eating? Fancy Feast chicken pate twice a day and free feeds on dried food.
Is the cat picky about food? She prefers chicken flavored food.
What is the cat's favorite treat? She likes churu

Does the cat ever swat (claws in) at you? If so, under what circumstances? She gently batted at us a few times when she first arrived to communicate no. Nothing since then.
Has the cat ever scratched (claws out) you? No
Does the cat ever nip (teeth without breaking skin) you? No
Has the cat ever bitten you (breaking skin)? No

To the best of your knowledge, how does the cat react to new people? Social? Fearful? Trish loves new people and is quickly friends with them!

Does that cat have any cute/quirky traits that aren’t covered by the previous questions? She likes to be held chest to chest with her legs straddling you like a baby.

In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt? She’s just a sweetheart looking to live out the rest of her life in comfort and be loved.

What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them? An ultrasound showed that Trish has inflamed intestines and the doctors think she may have intestinal cancer (lymphoma). She takes one tablet of prednisolone a day. Her energy levels are great and she shows no signs of pain.
