Alba came into Abbey Cats from a shelter up north that needed help finding a placement with ample space for her to finish raising her 3 beautiful kittens (Arturo, Alphonse, and Alina).
Alba is a strikingly beautiful Siamese X with vibrant big blue eyes and a gorgeous coat. She is a touch on the small side weight wise, but this may just be from using up all her energy and calories on being a great mom to her little ones.
Alba is a very chill, relaxed cat and maybe being the queen of a household just comes naturally to this pretty girl. She has been confident from the moment she stepped in her foster home, walking around to explore and rubbing against you to request pets. She purrs a ton and will often flop over on her back to give you access for belly rubs. However, she also does enjoy spending some time relaxing on her own - she likes to be part time lap cat and part time independent woman.
Alba is also a great eater (she enjoys both wet & dry food), and she has been excellent with using her litter box. She's had great household manners too and has not been a scratcher as long as she has access to a tall scratching post, which she uses regularly. Being picked up does not bother her, although she's a bit indifferent and does not specifically enjoy it. She's got a very laid back way about her.
We have not seen Alba interact with another adult cat, so we do not know if she would like a cat friend. We think she would likely be OK with another laid back and respectful adult cat, but does not necessarily require a friend at home as long as there's tons of affection to go around for her.
