Arturo came to Abbey Cats from a shelter up north along with his adorable 2 siblings (Alphonse and Alina) as well as his mom Alba. The group of them were found in need of help in a barn-type structure and brought to safety by a kind couple just as the weather was turning cold.
Arturo is an adorable little tuxedo kitten with a pink nose and jelly bean toes, and sweet greenish coloured eyes. In the litter of 3 kittens, he the middle kitten size wise.
Arturo is a really sweet boy. He's been warming up since he came into his foster home and has found more recently that he does in fact like some cuddles and pets, and toys are a fun time! He can still be easily startled and will hide under furniture if scared, but as he is young and continuing to build up his confidence, his fosters have no doubt he will overcome these nerves. He's just had a challenging start to his little life and is settling into a new routine.
Arturo really loves playing with both of his siblings, tumbling around. As both of his siblings are very self-assured and confident, spending time with them you can see helps him build his confidence too - he often observes them and follows their lead. He's also grown really fond of wand toys, especially if they make any little noises (like stuffed animals/balls that have something inside).
Arturo has been great with his litter box. He's becoming more and more comfortable with being picked up and cuddled.
Arturo would like to be adopted with one of his siblings, Alphonse and Alina. He needs to have a kitten friend with him and he really loves his two siblings. His fosters believe he'd do best in a home who could give him lots of love to continue showing him how great people are, and potentially a home that is not too noisy where he may have a harder time continuing to come out of his shell.

***Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.***
Due to an unprecedented demand (especially for kittens) we regret that we are unable to respond by phone to all of the applications we are currently receiving.
We are only able at this time to phone those applicants who have sent in an online adoption application, can provide a vet reference and their criteria matches what the particular cat or kittens' needs are.
We regret any inconvenience caused as we do our best to meet the overwhelming demand we are currently experiencing.
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.
