Peridot is a sociable, young, reformed, mother cat who is looking for a home where she can nap on a couch, explore her surroundings, and be safe. She’s a very pretty gray and white kitty. A human who was worried about her living in a parking lot determined she was very friendly and worked to get her into a foster home and a rescue. Peridot landed in a foster home full of tiny kittens and immediately volunteered to help with their care. She has good litter box skills, loves cardboard scratchers, and eats any canned cat food offered to her: she is making the most of her transition from the parking lot to the good life. Her diet has mostly been Friskies pate canned food and Fancy Feast Chunky Chicken with a side of high quality dry like Hills Science Diet Perfect Weight.

Peridot loves to play with all sorts of toys, from feather wands, to strings, to balls. She has had no known experience with children and no known interactions with dogs; she has had no disagreements during her stay in an all age, multi-cat foster environment.

Peridot loves to eat lickable treats. Hold her in your lap and feed her some lickables: you’ll hear her purring is loud and steady. She’s a big fan of sitting on a lap in front of the TV: keep the petting up and she’ll sit with you for hours. If you’re in search of a well-mannered lap cat, look no further.
