Hello everyone! I'm Hazel, a young 2-year-old 42lb baby with a very sweet, adventurous, and playful personality.
I have tested positive for Heartworm :( but I have a sponsor that will donate for my treatment! After my treatment I will need some kennel rest but once that is over I can live a life like any other pup.
I am very affectionate and love to show my beautiful smile to everyone I meet. I am very friendly towards people, and I love playing and getting attention. I get along with other dogs and even cats and would enjoy living with either or both.
I am a very curious and I love going on walks and exploring new places and smells. I am energetic and love to play, but I can also be calm and cuddly when it's time to settle down.
I would love to find a forever home where I can be the center of attention and live a life of love and adventure.

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
