Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Harper, a 4.5 year old Aries with a heart of gold, filled with energy and full of vitality, love, and lively excitement. She was born a Lab mix in March of 2020 and found roaming a rural area of Mountainaire, NM. She was brought into a home and learned to be a loyal packmate with a German Shepherd and a trusted companion with a person who loved her. Her range of manners consist of sitting, laying down, waiting for permission to pass through the door, shaking hands with paws, kissing with her nose (a boop), and resting in her house (i.e. Kennel) while rolling over for scratches on her belly. When she isn't sitting politely waiting for her food, she is a serious ball player (well, fetcher). It's her favorite game and she takes it seriously. When her person tells her to sit and wait while the ball is being thrown, she watches it land, makes eye contact with her person and waits for permission to fetch. Did we mention she is fast?
When Harper isn't working on her fetch game, she waits at the window to alert anyone that passes by and hopes they will wave/say hello. Her bark is mighty, but her spirit is gentle and always willing to give a nice kiss with a happy tail.
Harper will be your constant companion because her emotional intelligence is strong. If you're having a lazy day and want to kick back with a movie or a nice long book, she will crawl into your lap; all 50+/- pounds of her.
Now, the people she loves the most are kids. If you have a house with lots of energy and excitement, Harper would love to join in on the fun. She would also love to have a fur sibling that wants to run and play in the yard, but not required.
Overall, Harper is a heart dog. She loves with her whole self, will make you laugh on a cloudy day, keep you safe from blowing leaves and squirrels/birds/lizards in the yard, and be your best friend. Please consider this jelly bean dog as your new BFF for life.
