My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I`m Santana. I just arrived at St. Hubert`s not to long ago, so I`m still getting to know the lay of the land. Everyone here tells me that I`m really handsome, so I guess I must be...handsome that is. I can be a little tentative when I first meet new people, or if I`m in a new setting. I warm up really quickly. Even though I may look like a Malinois, I don`t have a very drivey personality. I`m a pretty chill dude. When I play, I like to play fetch, and I will happily bring the ball back so someone can toss it to me. I walk nicely on leash. I am really appropriate when I interact with other dogs, and there is a possibility I could live with cats. I`m really a goofball at heart -- don`t let that regal look of mine fool you. I am available for adoption at St. Hubert`s in Madison, NJ. I guarantee you that you`ll fall in love with me.

Our adoption center is located at 575 Woodland Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. We are open for adoption on a walk-in basis daily 1:30-6 pm (Thursdays 3-6 pm). If you arrive after 5:30, there is a possibility we may not be able to complete an adoption that day. Please note that we cannot put animals on hold.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. It operates animal shelters in Madison, North Branch and Ledgewood, New Jersey and one of the largest professional dog training and behavior centers in the country at its Madison campus. Humane Education and community outreach assistance are among its programs offered to the community. St. Hubert’s also provides animal control services by contract in several municipalities in proximity to the shelters.
