Meet Luna: A Beautiful Tuxedo Kitty with a Heart of Gold Despite the challenges life has thrown her.
Luna is a sweet and resilient tuxedo cat who has overcome a lot in her life. After being placed outside years ago, she spent three challenging years living outdoors, raising her kittens in difficult conditions. Sadly, Luna’s last litter was attacked by a raccoon, and the only survivor was her precious daughter, Lunita, who was later adopted with another kitten. Despite her past, Luna is now thriving in a safe, indoor environment and is so happy to have the love and care she deserves. While she can be a little shy at first, Luna is a gentle soul who has learned to trust that she’s safe and won’t be put back outdoors. She’s calm, affectionate, and loves attention—once she feels comfortable, Luna will happily let you pick her up and cuddle her. Luna is especially fond of Peony, and while they’re not quite bonded, they share a special mutual affection. Peony loves Luna, and Luna reciprocates that love, making them a sweet duo that would do well in a home with other cats. They aren’t bonded so they don’t have to be adopted together , but hey maybe they are the pair you’ve always wanted to add to your home.
Luna’s journey hasn’t been easy, but she’s finally found her peace. She’s looking for a loving home where she can relax, feel safe, and receive the affection she’s missed out on for so long.Ready to meet Luna? Come see this sweet tuxedo kitty today. With your patience and love, Luna will be a loyal and grateful companion for years to come!
Luna is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and healthy (fiv negative and felv negative)

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
