My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Estimated Date of Birth: 9/18/24

If this listing is active on Petfinder, this kitty is still available. If you are interested in this kitty, Please fill out an application on our website at

https://ffar.wufoo.com/forms/application-to-adopt-a-cat-from-ffar-plano-tx/

Responding to Petfinder is not a completion of an application. We do not adopt out of a local adoption area. Inquiries that ask questions listed in this bio will not be answered - the foster is a volunteer and has a heavy work schedule (to pay the bills for fostering) and has tried to answer the common questions that are received so that information is available to adopters. Pictures of this kitty were current as of 11/24/24

Adrianna's mom was a stray that came to a kind womans house and then presented her with Adrianna and her siblings. The family is keeping the mom but needed help with the kittens so FFAR stepped up to take them into rescue. Adrianna takes a little bit of time to get used to new environments. Once she's adjusted she's friendly, playful and seeks out attention. She has a nice play level. Adrianne has been highly socialized with other cats and is good with the fosters dogs. She must be adopted into a home that has another pet to be her companion. She is good with her kitty box.

Anyone interested in our cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. To fill out an application on line, just go to www.furryfriendsanimalrescue.org and click on the Adoption Application link. All our cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. We do ask for a $160 adoption donation.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.FurryFriendsAnimalRescue.org and look under HOW TO HELP. Furry Friends provides veterinary care - you provide the home and love!.

We also need Volunteers for Adoption Events at Petsmart and Cage Cleaners.

Additional adoption info

We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis - it is our goal to find the right home for the cat or dog as well ensuring that the cat or dog is the right match for it's new family. A win/win situation.
For dogs, we require an application, home visit for approved application, and home trial period to ensure that it's a good fit for the dog and the family.
For cats, we require an application, but do allow same-day adoptions. Our goal is to find our fosters a "forever" home.
Our Adoption Fees are $140 for cats and $175 for dogs.

All our cats and dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - this includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia/aids testing, heartworm tests, deworming, spay or neuter, microchips and other medical treatment as required.

You can fill out an Adoption Application online on our website.

Go meet their pets

All our cats and dogs live in foster homes so we don't have a physical shelter for you to visit.
A selection of FFAR cats will be showcased EVERY DAY at:

McKinney Craig Ranch PetSmart at Custer/Hwy 121
AND
McKinney PetSmart #1751 N. Central Expressway.

Adoption Counselors will be in attendance at both PetSmarts on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday from 11 am - 4 pm. and Sunday from 12 noon - 4 p.m.

A selection of the FFAR dogs will be at the Craig Ranch McKinney PetSmart (Custer/Hwy121) on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of the month. Not all dogs will attend and times will vary. Please check our Facebook Page for updates on the day of the Meet & Greet.
Adoption Counselors will be in attendance during that time.

If you are interested in meeting any of our cats or dogs, just send us an email or fill out an Adoption Application on our website. The Adoption Application is not a commitment just a means of introduction. We look forward to hearing from you!

More about this rescue

Furry Friends Animal Rescue

We are a new group started in 2013 by a large group of experienced rescuers - we wanted to be part of an ethical rescue group which would allow us to help homeless cats and dogs in the North Texas area. We value all the experience and knowledge brought to this group by the volunteers so the group is member based. We welcome new volunteers and fosters, both experienced or new to rescue. You can contact us by email or through our website - we will get back to you as soon as possible.
