Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
TChalla was purchased in 2020 from Pet Smart. He was about 8 months old, 27lb, which is a big as he will get. His breed requires lots of attention, so he loves kids and is playful. Hugging, cuddling, and playing with his ball are his favorites. We currently live in an apartment building so throwing his ball down the hall way and allowing him to charge after it is fun for him. He also loves running in open fields unleashed, sniffing, jumping in leaves, and wandering around. He was trained by his owner, who comes from a long line of dog trainers, so he is obedient to the basic commands: sit, stay, here (patting your leg), drop it, good boy, no, go, etc. TChalla is an active breed. He loves attention, so children are his best friends. He has never bitten anyone and is only aggressive when by strangers approaching his own or coming to the door (the normal dog protecting behavior). TChalla loves to be praised and receive treats. He has a fear of rain and storms.
