Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Simon is just as fun to have around as he is adorable! His favorite hobby is definitely playing. He LOVES to play outside, fetch, tugs, chase, he loves it all. He is used to being around other dogs and with how much he likes to play I would recommend that he have another dog to play with. He gets along with children and cats as well. Simon is fully house trained and crate trained. Simon responds well to his name, very food driven and has been making huge gains with training commands. He does well on a leash, and has been doing some training with the electric collar. He likes to be outside with some room to run. After a long day of playing, Simon likes to snuggle up with his cherished humans. He loves to cuddle and to be held.
For a Beagle Simon does not bark very much. He does when playing sometimes, but for the most part the only noise he makes is snoring when he sleeps. He is a very good boy. He just needs a bow and is ready to fit under your Christmas Tree.
Simon's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website. www.northernlakesrescue.org

More about this rescue
Our Vision is to be a voice for those who are voiceless. We hear them with our hearts and give them a voice. Looking into the eyes of a rescued animal will speak volumes; watching those eyes light up will have an everlasting impact on you and the rescued animals.
We aren’t a typical rescue as we don’t take in dogs and put them in kennels until they’re adopted. All dogs we rescue are placed in loving foster homes that teach them to be the best dog they can be.
Our journey doesn’t end with adoption, either. We are here for you to support you in integrating your new member into your home, cheer new triumphs, and help with struggles.
