Wilbur or “Willy” as we like to call him is a 1 year old Beagle boy who found himself in a local shelter. He is 28 lbs and full of love. Timid at first but quick to warm up. He blended right in with the pack at his foster home and is learning how to be a family dog. He is house and crate trained. We have not had him with kids but we believe he would be great as he has shown zero aggression. He is just a happy go lucky guy looking for his very own home. A fenced yard is preferred as hounds tend to follow their noses!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
