My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Josephine!  I am a teeny tiny little calico kitten, and I am two months old.  I have been at my foster mom's house with my foster brother Samson Bug for almost a month, and my foster family absolutely loves me!  They say I am sweet, cuddly, and so playful!  My foster brother Samson Bug dotes on me--we are always napping together, and our favorite thing to do is wrestle.  Plus, we are pretty quiet and don't disturb our foster mom at night!  But when it's breakfast time, be prepared--I squeak and jump up on mom's leg when she is getting my wet food ready, and the minute she puts the plate down, I am ready to dig in!  I am great with other cats and kids, too!

Bug and I are bonded, and we want to be adopted together. Our adoption fee is $275, and it covers our vaccines, microchipping, and spay/neuter procedure.  Bug and I have had our shots, but our final vetting appointment will be in December.  If we are adopted before that appointment, my forever family will need to bring me to that appointment, but it will be paid for by SOCA.  If you would like to meet Bug and me, please submit an application, and the volunteers at SOCA will contact you!

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
