My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Samson, but my foster family calls me Bug!  All I want for Christmas is to be adopted into a loving family!!! I am a three month old gray kitten with floofy, long hair.  One of the videos in my profile shows my floofy hair.  I am very small for my age--in fact, I only weighed one pound for almost three weeks, even though I was eating well and active.  My foster family thinks I will be a small cat, as I get older.  My foster moms says I have such a unique face, unlike any foster kitten she has had!

I have been at my foster family's house for about six weeks, and they absolutely love me!  I am playful, friendly, and lots of fun.  During the day, I spend time with my foster sister, Josephine.  We love to wrestle and take naps together.  Occasionally, we make biscuits on a fluffy cat bed.  I have been doing well with the other cats at home, and I am great with kids, too.  Plus, we are quiet and don't disturb our foster humans while they are sleeping at night!

Josephine and I are bonded, and we want to be adopted together.  Our adoption fee is $275, and it includes our vaccines, microchipping, and spay/neuter procedure.  We have both had two rounds of shots, but our final vet appointment will be in December.  If we are adopted before our final appointment, our new family will need to take us to the appointment, but SOCA will pay for the visit.  If you would like to come meet us, please submit an application, and one of the SOCA volunteers will contact you to schedule a meet and greet!

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
