My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chance. He's a great guy who didn't get the best start in life. He was born in a barn and didn't get to have a family of his own until he was almost 6 mths old. When he arrived at his new home he was in really rough shape. His coat looked terrible and he was just generally unhealthy. After many tests and some trial and error sleuthing, his family discovered that he had allergies. They switched his food to pork and his health quickly improved. Change is loving and playful and super smart.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Each adoptive family will complete an application, come out to meet the available dog(s) and then email us after the meeting to let us know their intentions to pursue the adoption. We will do a home visit, check their references and then decide on the best home for each dog. Once a home is chosen, the family will sign our adoption contract and pay the $450 adoption fee prior to taking their new family member home with them!

SPIN strives to educate and raise public awareness about how to be responsible for and share your life with a companion animal. We talk about the importance of spay/neuter programs, the deplorable conditions found in puppy mills and advocate for change. We are most proud, however, of our work in engaging like-minded people together by providing a forum to discuss how to care for and celebrate the poodle breed, but also to come together when necessary to help poodles in need.
