Hello, my name is Rui. I am a Sweet 6 Month Old Papillon that was severely abused and neglected by my Previous Owner . I am extremely skittish, but with the help of other dogs as companions, you will see my playful happy nature. I want to bond with people it’s just extremely hard for me to trust them because of my what I endured, I cannot be trusted off leash For the first few weeks after my adoption, I don’t know what it’s like to be treated like a dog, but with plenty of one-on-one bonding, you will easily gain my trust and I am very food motivated, my rescuer believes I was tormented with a leash so my ideal adopter would give me plenty of reassurance and be very patient and kind to me. I am very smart and I do not want to be somewhere alone I will find a way out so crate training must be applied when I come home. I am potty trained on puppy pads and I am crate trained I do enjoy car rides and I do enjoy cuddling on the bed once I have established a routine and acclimated to my new environment. I am the sweetest spunkiest cutest, long legged dog you’ve ever seen. My rescuer is very attached to me and had a hard time letting me go, but she knows I deserve my forever home where I will be loved and get that one on one time so if you think you can change my mind on people, please contact my rescuer directly with the information listed above my story and she will schedule a time for us to meet.
