My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Slinky,

I’m a curious and adorable ferret looking for my forever home. I’m mostly litter box trained (I’m pretty good, but hey, nobody’s perfect!), and I love cozying up in hammocks or snuggling into blankets in my little bed. When I’m out exploring, I enjoy helping rearrange the house—rugs, throw pillows, you name it! I like to think of myself as an interior decorator. I get along wonderfully with the cats and dogs in my foster home, and I’d be thrilled to have another ferret buddy to play with! However, rabbits probably aren’t the best match for me—they tend to bring out my hunting instincts. I’ll also admit, I have a bit of a weakness for cat food (it’s so tempting!), but don’t worry, I know it’s not for me. Baths? Not my favorite thing, but I’ll tolerate them like a champ. I’m also well-behaved during nail trims. Toys are great fun, but what I’d really love is a family who will shower me with attention and maybe even introduce me to a ferret sibling. Little lives took me in for a wellness exam, vaccines, and microchip. It was there I  learned that I have adrenal disease. Due to this I received a small implant to help level out my hormones. This implant would need to be changed and costs around $300. How often it needs to be changed can vary, anywhere from every 6 months - 2 years. I understand this is a lot to take on but I promise I'm worth the investment. I am the bestest boy! If you’re ready for a spunky little decorator to bring joy and energy into your home, I’m your guy!
