Meet Sissy- a 2 year old shih tzu mix who is on the search for her forever home. She is a playful girl who would love to have another dog in the home to play with. She is just discovering the joy of dog toys and the magic of the kong! She likes to snuggle. She typically comes when called, but is still working on other basics like sit and down. She is also learning all about leashes, and is figuring that out as well. . She is completely potty trained. She is about 12 lbs.

Her $200 adoption fee includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines, and microchip.

If interested in one of our great dogs, please email us for an application. Once the application is returned and processed, we set up private meet and greets with approved adopters. Our adoption fee is generally $200.

New Leash on Life Dog Rescue is a foster based dog rescue that takes in dogs from local owner surrenders as well as rescues dogs from high kill shelters in other states. We also work with local shelters when they have a dog who is just not doing well in a shelter environment. We are an all breed rescue and we have dogs of all shapes and sizes. We rescue dogs who are need medical attention as well as those who are healthy and just looking for a great family.
