Summers County Humane Society

Meet Cooper. He is looking for a family to love him and care for him. His last owners admittedly dropped him off in the woods and let him fend for himself. Cooper is a sweet boy. He gets along with other dogs and loves people. He is working on walking well on a leash in foster care. Please help this sweet boy find his forever family.

ACWP's requires potential adopters to submit an application and veterinary references to be reviewed by our placement team. A phone interview will follow and if a suitable animal is available a home visit will be arranged.

ACWP requests a tax-deductible donation of $200 for most dog adoptions to help offset vetting expenses and to assist care for future animals.

Go meet their pets

Our county and ACWP, Inc. do not have an animal shelter and our pets are kept in foster homes. Without fosters homes, we have to turn dogs away and they will be killed. Email is the fastest way to reach us: acwp@acwp-wv.org
