Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Norwood Young America, MN
Hi! My name is Journey, and I have been on quite the journey! I was rescued from a reservation with a badly broken leg that required an amputation, as well as mange. As you can see, I've grown back all my fur, and having only 3 legs doesn't slow me down one bit!
I LOVE attention, and will try to climb into your lap so you have to pet me. I also enjoy sleeping on the bed with you. I am quite content to spend the day snuggled up on the couch while you are away from home - I am fully potty trained and non destructive!
As my body has healed, my personality has started to shine through. I enjoy the company of other dogs and would do well with a friend to play with. I REALLY want to go run with my foster family's young dog, but I'm not allowed off leash. That doesn't stop the occasional sprint around the yard or zoomie in the house!
My foster family has cats, and I do well with them, but have tried playing a few times which could scare cats not used to dogs.
I love people, kids included. I am quite exuberant about getting pets though, so families should be aware of that.
My foster mom says I'm the perfect mix of couch potato and energy - I'm ready and willing to do whatever you want, from movie time to hiking. I am quite food motivated, and have already learned sit and stay at my foster house.
I'm ready for the last step of my journey - a forever home! If I sound like a great match (I think I do!) apply to adopt me today!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
