My name is Adeline!

Adeline was found by animal control and taken into a shelter, since no microchip was detected. Her full background remains unknown, but she is the sweetest, most cuddly dog I’ve ever met. This unknown backstory also means her age is approximated, now to be around 5 and a half years old. (When I first met and adopted her, the shelter said animal control had guessed her age was around 3 and a half years old.) The only warning the shelter gave me upon my initial meeting her was her fear of being around unfamiliar men. She becomes quite skittish around new people (magnified with males, especially when taller) but the second she understands there’s no real threat and everyone here is safe/nonviolent, she will instantly become your best friend. Adeline is very well trained, as she is an extremely bright and clever dog, always wanting attention. Although can be high energy and easily excitable, mainly around new people and environments, with the right exercise this is very manageable.
