Hi there. My name is Sputnik. I. am a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix. I weigh around 12 pounds. I am a little shy and I shake when I meet new people. I do like being near my foster family getting some love and snuggles. I also like my alone time, on a big dog bed and where I can see you. I get along with dogs. I love to give my foster parents a little kiss on the nose. I like laying in the sun. I have not been around cats. I am good on my leash. I like car rides and laying down in the backseat. At night, I want to sleep with my foster parents and will snuggle into blankets.. I am house-trained, and will let you know when I need to go out by standing by the back door. I do prefer that my Hooman goes out with me, as I really don’t like the cold. I know sit, lay, off, down. I also will ask permission before jumping into your lap on the couch. My foster parents think my face and ears look like Yoda. I can do stairs up and down. When I do bark, I have a very deep tone. If you would like to meet this dog please call Teri at 630-897-7454.
