Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Hudson (aka Hondo). Hudson is a sweet sweet boy and loves all people, and I mean all people! He loves giving kisses, is snuggly and loving but also very playful. Hudson knows how to be calm and relaxed in the house but also likes to be silly. He loves toys and will ask you to play, toss, or tug with him as much as you are willing. Hudson loves playing soccer, kicks the ball around for himself and loves for you to try and steal the ball from him. He likes to also block when you kick the ball for him. I swear someone taught him to play soccer. Hudson can be vocal when he plays, but it's all in fun.
Hudson came to us after spending a long year in a rural shelter. Prior to the shelter, we suspect that Hudson spent most of his life living outside. Living in a home seemed to be all new experiences. Hard floors, couches, beds, and soft cozy blankets were all foreign to him, but he has adjusted very nicely. New places can be a little bit scary but with a little encouragement he will be brave with you.
Hudson is learning to be comfortable in a crate and making great progress. He is spending some time with one of our trainers, working on impulse control, leash walking and recall. Hudson seems used to being on his own out in the world, so he needs to learn to stay with his people. He is food motivated, a fast learner, smart, and eager to please.
Hudson would love an outdoorsy family that will play and explore with him.
