This beautiful lady is Rose! She was surrendered to the shelter on 11/24 because she kept escaping the yard. Rose is now crossing her paws for a new, forever home where she will be kept inside and treated like a family member. Rose is starved for affection, and she just melts into the volunteers for reassuring pets and affection. She's already won over the hearts of the volunteers with her loving, calm, and gentle demeanor. She is just the sweetest soul, and she really deserves the best home. Her previous family did say that Rose is good with cats and dogs, so that is great news!
Rose is approximately 2 years old, and she weighs 72 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Rose did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care, she can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives her treatment. Rose is waiting patiently in run 879; her ID # is 6460.
Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
