Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Luna was a stray we rescued from a Kansas shelter. She was very shy at the shelter, lying at the back of her kennel and wasn't brave enough to stand and greet us when we first met her. She made excellent eye contact however and wagged her tail persistently when spoken to. We knew she wanted to be brave but just wasn't quite ready yet! Luna was covered in dirt, very underweight and small for her age at 28 lbs.
Luna has made such progress since arriving at her foster home. No longer shy, she greets visitors at the door, enjoys pets, and doles out puppy kisses. A smart girl, she is already house trained and will sometimes ring the bells to go outside. She loves the other dogs in her foster home and has an adult Pyr to learn from. We do think Luna will be a counter surfer as she has already taught her foster mom not to leave things on the counter. Luna is doing pretty well with crate training, likes toys, bones and the occasional sock or shoe! She also likes to sleep on dog beds, sometimes upside down!
Being fostered in Wichita, KS
Luna is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay/neuter at a later date and must show vet records at that time.
Adoption Requirements
*A secure & visible fence
*A home visit
*A vet check with at least a two year vet history
Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states: Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. We are able to help transport to those states.
