My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"A loyal canine companion is the truest of treasures." This makes us think of Panda!

Why we love her: Panda was shy when she first came to the shelter, and it has been so gratifying to see her gain confidence and to learn the joys of a happy doggie life.

Precious Panda has the gentlest of hearts and the tenderest of souls. She is 18 months old and weighs 69 pounds. Her soft and silky snow white coat is beautifully marked with brown patches and speckles.

Panda enjoys short walks and loves to sit next to you to be petted and encouraged. She has a great time playing in the fenced yard.

Panda has enjoyed being in play groups with her fellow shelter companions. She will play bow to them, which is so cute to see! If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Panda is a bright dog who should do well with training.

We believe she will blossom as part of her new family.

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
