My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Christie is a gorgeous, sweet and affectionate, golden-eyed, eight-year-old, ten-pound, long-haired calico cat looking for a loving guardian.

Christie lost her home when her human became too ill to care for her.

She’s very friendly with people and especially loves the teenage boy in her home. She loves being pet. She’s an all-around fabulous feline who uses her litter box and scratching post like a good girl. She even lets you trim her nails easily. She has a very loud purr that can be heard room-wide.

She has lived as an only cat in the home, so we don’t know how she is with other cats or dogs.

She is healthy, dewormed, de-flead, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper and virus-tested negative. She even had a recent dental cleaning.

Christie was fed an all-dry food diet, but does enjoy wet food which will help her maintain a healthy weight.

To meet and possibly adopt Christie, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/

After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet her.

Her adoption fee of $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is being fostered on Chicago’s north side.
