My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Macaron, his brothers Crumbcake and Jelly Roll, and sisters Banoffee, Gateau, and Meringue, were born to mama Quincy mid-August of 2024. The boys are all orange and white, and Jelly Roll and Macaron are almost the spitting image of their mother. Macaron is less confident than the rest of his siblings, but he forgets to run away when distracted by a toy. He also likes cuddling with his siblings and is adjusting to the new cats and people he meets. If Macaron is not neutered by the time he is adopted, he will be on a spay/neuter contract. He is microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
