Hi my name is Mr. Beefy! I was rescued off the streets in Brawley by a nice woman who brought me to Smittens so that I could be examined and soon be ready for adoption. I am a big, sweet, calm boy that is not bothered by much! My love language is gentle pets, chin and cheeks are my favorite. But I also love tummy rubs! I like to be near humans and enjoy shaking mice too. I will work well in pretty much any household and look forward to a happy life in my forever home!

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
