My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everyone, meet Barry!

Barry is the new big man on the block and he`d like for you to come say hello! Barry is a black labrador mix approximately 9 years of age and weighs in around 90 pounds.

He is definitely full grown and even though he is a bit older, he will enjoy lots of long walks. He knows how to sit and shake and I`ll bet that with just the right kind of treats, you can teach him even more new tricks!

Barry came to us as a stray but has not been taken care of the best before he came to us. He has a bit of scarring around his neck from either a collar that was too tight, or being tied out on a rope way too long. He LOVES to get scratches and pets and will rub his head into yours to show you home much he loves you.

Barry is not fixed just yet so he has a tendency to be a bit jumpy on the other dogs but that should subside slowly after his surgery appointment. Until that time, Barry will be available to foster to adopt.

If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.

My adoption fee is SPONSORED.
