Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walnut came to TCPR with two other adult cats and 6 kittens that were 1 day old. We weren't sure who was mom to who so all three adults took care of the six kittens together! Everyone from the group has been adopted and now it's Walnut's turn!

She is a very sweet girl that gets along well with other cats/kittens but she does take a little time to adjust to new situations. Walnut is a big fan of kitty treats and wet food. If she thinks it's treat time but you aren't there, she will meow at you to let you know it's time! Walnut would also make a great companion for someone who works from home because she loves naps just as much as playing with her toys.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
