My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for pure happiness, Rocket may be the one. This German Shepherd Mix came to ARC from Seminole Reservation Animal Control. We have no idea what his life was like before but we know it didn't kill his spirit. Rocket is a happy, lovable guy who just wants to play and cuddle whenever he can. He loves everyone and will make an awesome family dog, or a companion for an individual.

Why not complete an application and schedule an appointment to meet this sweet boy today?

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
