My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spider, a young feline resident of our shelter. He`s a bit of a wallflower, often found tucked away in corners, observing the world around him with wide, curious eyes. His shyness is just a cover for his sweet, loving nature. Given a little time, he`ll warm up and show you just how affectionate he can be. Spider is also a little detective, always investigating new sounds and smells. His curiosity is endless, making him the perfect companion for those who enjoy life`s simple mysteries. Spider is ready to bring joy, love, and a dash of mystery to your home. He`s not just a pet, he`s a friend, a companion, and a sweet soul who deserves a loving home. Will you be the one to give Spider the loving home he deserves?

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
